He is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2011 Shabab Ayyam Photography competition, and the Live Achrafieh Honorary Award for his contribution to the community (2011). He was also nominated for the fourth cycle of the Prix Pictet, the world’s leading photographic award in sustainability (2012). His work has since appeared in Power, the fifth book published by teNeues for the Prix Pictet, Uncommon Dubai, a book project that reveals the codes and constructs of places (2014) and in various regional art magazines and publications.
He is the founder of the Lakum Hamra2akoum wa Li Hamra2i photography project in Lebanon, and Mosaic: Achrafieh International Photography Contest, Lebanon’s first international photography competition. Mohamad has exhibited in Dubai, Jeddah and Beirut including his controversial solo show: “The Power of…” at Ayyam Gallery, Beirut (2012).
His series “Dreamer In Dubai” is in permanent display at Dubai Design District, Building 5.
Michelle Al Shakhtoura is a renowned Lebanese creative consultant born in 1987. With a background in graphic design, animation and management and over 12 years of experience in the design world, she has consulted and worked with major clients from the Middle East, Europe and the United States of America.
Michelle possesses a minimal and clean visual style that sets her apart in the creative industry. She is currently Osheq's Art Director where her passion for fashion & art and her branding skills are clearly evident.
Michelle is also the lead creative consultant for 'Mohamad Badr's' art ventures and projects.
Born in Sharjah, UAE in 1967. UAE University graduate in Media. Curator & Director of "Emirates Film Competition"; Cultural Foundation, Abu Dhabi 2000-2006. Served as director of the Gulf Film Festival 2008-2014. Former Artistic Director of the Dubai International Film Festival 2007-2017. Have multiple writings in the fields of poetry and cinematic critiques. His writings were published in many Arab magazines and newspapers. Directed several shorts and documentaries including "Al-Rumram" (1994), "The Rainbow Room – 100 Years of Cinema" (1996), "Horizontals and Ornament in the Baroque Age" (1999), “The Mountain Keepers” (2005). Severed as jury member in over 40 Arabic and International film festival, such as: Singapore International Film Festival, Singapore 2007; Biennale Des Cinémas Arabes, Paris 2003; Echofilms Rodes International Films + Visual Arts Festival, Greece 2003; Tehran International Short Film Festival, 2003; Docudays – Beirut International Documentary Festival, 2003. Supervised and co-wrote many scripts for Arab and none-Arab filmmakers. He also edited films and published a joint poetic book entitled "Hymns of the Seagull".
